The Direction You Sidehop?

Recommended Posts

i used to do the same mate, i am right footed but now i go to the left, at first it seems really awkward... but after time and practice its actually easier and you can go higher as you don't have any chance of smashing/catching your pedal on the wall on the way up... anyways hope i have helped... as always practice makes perfect (Y)

I don't catch my foot and i sidehop to the left and i'm left foot forward ... Tunni is the same he is left foot forward and sidehops to the left. It don't really matter what way you sidehop to be honist, Just go to the side witch feels right.

sidehopping to your forward foot direction is slightly worse only in the fact that if you dont quite make it, there's no pedal to catch you, so you fall backwards.

Other than that, sidehopping to your forward foot is just as good as to your backfoot direction. Heck, sidehopping to your forward pedal has more potential of going higher than to the backpedal, because you can use it as a side-hook.
