ogre
I can;t get any tention on my chain I've got an onza t-bird frame and an onza sealed hub but my tugs can't pull my axles back very well, what tugs will work (not snail cams, no fitting for em atm ) So what tugs would work, or coudl i run c.k funn bolts and tighten them like bastards?, Or could i run a normal threaded axle with them? Mat Smith!
Just some random Diamondback ones will do.Mat
Euro Braker
I had sort of the same problem on my zona so I built a tensioner. I have the chain tugs in for display purposes only
JT!
There's no reason why you tuggs shouldn't work, there's not exactly much that can go wrong with them. How do they not work?
PaRtZ
How do they not work?Probably the cross-lateral bipolar interface isn't fully meshing with the cross-dimensional trip switch. Just a wild guess like...
Bionic Balls
indeed partz...but one must also consider the quantisation of the shear stresses inherent in the material and the implications of the Pauli exclusion principle in such a situation.adam

Mark W
But yeah, about the chain-tugs - cheap Gusset ones should do the job fine. When you use them to get the right tension, try to have your wheelnuts fairly tight. Not so tight that you can't move the wheel, but not super loose. When you tighten them up, they tend to move the stays about a little, which can change how tight your chain is. Make sure they're a little loose, then just tighten the tug up. Then tighten up a bit each side with your wheelnuts, then fully tighten them. Check the chain's the right tension. If it is, just put an extra 1/4 turn on the chaintug/try tightening them up a little more, as usually you can tighten them off after the wheelnuts are tightened up fully. ogre
It's not that i can't set tugs up. but the tugs i have (and most tugs i've soon on tinternet etc) have a 10mm or bigger hole which would fit a normal axle fine, but the hub has funn bolt type things going on so i can't get enough pull from the tugs on them
