Need Some Bike Advice!

Hi guys,

Just signed up this morning so thought I'd say hi. I've been riding for a little while now (I'm 19 now) and currently ride a 24/7 custom build that you can see in the bike pics thread.

Just a question though, I was thinking about making my bike more trials specific, I've had full-on trials bikes in the past and want to go down that route again now. I'm definatly going to get rigids and a smaller chainring, but what about the frame? Its really, really light, feels rigid and strong and has great geometry for street but do you guys think a trials specific frame would be better, say a Zoo Pitbull? Or should I stick with the 24/7 and change out some parts?

Thanks!

well i like the 24/7 you have now, but i think it would be better for a cruiser or maybe a jumps bike.. a zoo frame would suit you if you really would like to get back into the trials world, as they are strong, sexy and light... it would deffinately help you in the long rn if you wana use it for trials..as i can see the frame you have now, doenst look to stirdy for trials..but its your choice..if you have the time and money a pitbull is the way to go

From what i saw, the 24/7 will not really suit trials no matter what you do. The BB will most likely be far too low, chainstays too long, and frame too short.

Best bet would be to get your hands on either a second hand frame like an echo control, or something which has fairly standard trials geo.
