Janson
I'm pretty sure citibank offers "no questions" loneshark-style loans. The interest is sky high though, at least it's like that over here.

Trials Punk
Getting into debt straight away isn't a good thing. It will spiral out of control. Its not worth the hastle and stress mate. You should have spent some time thinking something like that over.

Extreme_biker0
There are loads of places out there that will give you loans mate. Just spell your name a bit different. Like Rick-->Ricky. That'll fool the credit checks. As for the idea of loans, well all I can say is . I used to be sceptical of loans, but I was wrong. I used to worry about getting into debt and joepardising my future, but my eyes are open now . A few years ago I was watching some TV program where celebrities were spending huge sums of money on luxury items, and I thought, why don't I deserve that?! So I took out a £10,000 loan and was away! Now I shop at waitrose not aldi, and I go out on the bike in gucci and armarni suites, it's so cool! The money quickly went away and the repayments were quite high, so i obviously needed another loan so i took out £25,000 and I still have half of that left! It's so good being able to show people my bank balance of over £17,000 Seriously mate there is no down side, I would take the loan out, plus a bit more so you can live your life to the max Brought to you by ocean finance Edited June 25, 2006 by Extreme_biker0

Well im only 16 so I have never taken a loan out... but yer.. I used to only wear gucci, armani, prada, versace etc. It cost me a bomb, I used to spend 230 on my jeans. Since then I have changed, I dont think its cool to show people me wearing more expensive clothes, people wont think anything better of you. There is a huge downside, it really cant be that fun going in to a shop that sells designer clothes and spending money on clothes which in fareness you dont have? Its not your money your spending. The people that wear designer labels are usually minted which in fareness i dont belive you are? anzo
Jesus, right. Loans are good in small ammounts. Hes borrowing 1800 (or even less assuming that he has SOME money).Think about this carefully though, you live at home with your parents and you want a loan. It doesn't go onto YOUR name, it does onto YOUR address. If you f**k the loan up, you've just buggered your parents credit history aswell, causing them a lot of bother to set the record staight so its on your back.Don't go to the dodgy places, they get away with charging well over the odds. You CAN get a loan from a bank, but the problem is you have no credit history.Problem 1. Your broke, and they'll take that badly.Problem 2. Your a student?Problem 3. You have no credit history (best way to get history is get a phone on contract)Solution - FIRST DIRECT. Get yourself one of these babys and you have have an overdraft with a VERY low interest rate. But all depends if you can do it or not, if you can't trust yourself or having any doubts what so ever...simply don't bother
Ducko
paying off is not a problem at all, what account do you apply for with first direct?cheers
Caleb
seems a lot of money for a bike, you could get a nice little crosser or trialser for like £400 or less, which i'll bet youd have more fun on than a peddle bike.
Ducko
thats not the case as there is limited places to ride a motor bike where i live but loads of really good trails, good thought thou.
