Dan Campbell
I guess i've been trying to take decent photos for about 2 years, since I got my first digi camera (Kodak DX7630). Playing with manual settings etc. Slowly improved over the years but I havn't taken any courses so it's kinda learning by doing/reading about techniques. Recently been using a mates dads Panasonic DMC-FZ15 when out riding for taking photos (DJ ride for example). Considering a DSLR at the moment but a lack of money and wondering if it's worth spending so much if i'm not going to be able to take photos to justify the expense are holding me back.Dan
AndyT
Jumped in head first...and everything else. Made the transition from film in 05, I'm on my second canon dslr right now and eyeing a full frame...work 9-5 professionally as a product photographer, in the off hours do mostly portraiture for money and my own personal stuff. Need more studio equipment...and L primes...soon.There seems to be a lot of age-ism in professional photography, the youngest guy I know is 34 years old but he is really really nice- kind of a mentor to me...he just got a big deal with starbucks which is amazing to me as he just started his own business 5 months ago after 14 years of just family portraits. All I can say is women seem to like photographers.
