got that one just 8 days ago, it spank(ed) like f**k though, damn fast. Got 135mph out of it but ran out of road. Upgraded brakes and discs to brembo's, spax fully adjustable suspension with damper control, powerflow exhaust straight through with de-cat, bailey dump valve, hybrid turbo, FSE power boost valve, uprated spark leads and plugs all sitting on a set of 18" team dynamics rims :D

affording it isnt really the problem, its getting the b*****d thing to work. Now its only running on 2 cylinders its like somebody has taken away half my engine, or replaced it with a mo-ped engine, its gutless as f**k at the moment and sounds a bit like a lawn mower.

So your gonna be beating me in speed whilst im walking or biking!

My head gasket went 2 weeks after buying it

lost power + money gained smoke + noise

Thats what springs to mind, have you checked your oil, dip stick/under the rocker cover?

I love that car though, i wanna get alloys like that on my 1.6 16v vectra.

hmmm people like my car :- what can i say, i got taste!

The rocker cover should be coming off over the weekend and should explain a little more to me about whats going on under there.

The thing is i hit some shit, and because the car is so low it crimped this pipe work at the front end underneath the car, to where i could trace and from previous knowledge i believe this is just the oil for the power steering, which is working fine. Maybe it is infact the oil cooler which sends the oil back over the top of the engine for the pistons? In which case the pistons may have gone dry and have gotten stuck, i really dont know?

anybody know a person with parts for this car would be highly appreciated, could do with some body parts as well if possible.

cheers, stu (Y)
