mtbjosh
most of the mark is from your design and research folder, and obviously your final exam, i have just finished it, my practical was around an A which ws a centre piece for a table with candles etc. some schools including mine wouldnt let me do a bike part as it has to be a full job, not a spare if you get me. it also depends on your school machines and resources. mine was pretty basic, with one wood class and the other being an everything class with 2 lathes, brazing hearth, 1 drilling maching, a miller and a bandsaw, and also the nob headness of your fellow class people, mine was full of tools getting below D's and never did their written work but i just reclused myself, haha.clocks are good, there loads of whakky designs, you want something different, not a common thing that wont make the examiner interested.
