Backyard Trials?

Recommended Posts

Now that summers come and ive finished my GCSE's im getting out on my bike much more. However there is nothing really for me to ride within a mile or two, which although is not that far, if I want to just got out for half an hour or so, is to far.

So basically my question is, is there anything good I can mae in my back yard? It is a reasonable size yard about 15-20m by about 7m. I have a path leading to it so I don't need any room to get my footing etc. I have access to quite a few logs, planks and could probably get hold of some crates.

I have already just laid out logs and tried hopping from one to another, however that gets very boring, very quickly as it is so short and not very difficult. So I am more looking for something I could construct which would be good.

Any replies would be helpful although please don't just tell me to ride the mile or two to the city centre as I am often left with shorter times in which I have nothing to do and rarely have a whole day free.

Thanks

Well what i'd do is see if i can get as many crates/pallets as i can and build coarses up in my garden. Also if you get board you can always change it as it is not permanent.

It is amazing riding on crates there is so much you can make from them e.g Drops, gaps, coarses and set them up to see how many you can get up. Me and my friends always go up my local industrial estate on a sunday and have a good blast on them it's uber! (Y)

just get anything you can get your hands on then chuck it about in you garden make sure every thing is sterdy and then you got yourself a trials section, and as everything wont be fixed to the ground you can just keep varying the section (Y)

edit: ballocks didnt read the post above and ive wrote pretty much the same sorry
