Tony Harrison
Are you sure Select have none? They're the same as the old Echo Pure ones.
T.McMillan
i ordered, a mech hanger off of there website and it never came until my dad got a phonecall about a month later, and it was Mr Ashton himself, he told my dad that he has to order the mech hangers at like 50 at a time, but he said they take ages to come though after being ordered and manufactured, Martyn in the end refunded my payment and sent me his spare one off of his bike, my dad never told me about the phonecall until after i received the mech hanger, it had a little note in the enevelope with the mech hanger, and i was so gob smacked that i got a letter from him was soooo totally wicked. Tony Harrison
Yeah, he's alright like that. I had a mech hanger take a while to come through and he offered to send another one without charge.Go to a big bike shop and ask. Often they have a bag of assorted mech hangers, you're bound to find either one that's the right fit or one you can clamp on with the skewer for the time being. Tomm
one you can clamp on with the skewer for the time being.Do you reckon it would be possible to make a hanger that's just like that? I.e. one that will fit almost every frame on the market and clamp on via the QR. Then someone could make thousands and sell them at £2 each. Every rider in the country would have a couple of spares at that price.Someone please make this happen.

mtbjosh
my friend uses that method of clamping it on with the skewer, hes had it for months as he had mojor problems with getting a KOT hanger so he bodged it. and no major bike shops do them, they only do the base which are similar in shape but the width is different, i aint paying £15 for something that doesnt go on right im unhappy now Edited June 22, 2006 by mtbjosh
