Will Arnold
what temporary files? i can find internet files, but not word ones i clicked no instead of yes when it asked me if i wanted to save.any ideas?
JT!
Word automaticly saves every now and again. The file is saved somewhere in the microsoft office directory, when you clicked 'no' is was probably deleted. However you can download programs that will recover deleted files. So all you need to do is find out where those temp files are stored, then get hold of a programe that'll recover deleted files. And then you'll have it back. I can't be any more specific than that though. But there's a very low chance it isn't possible to get it back. Also, go into word and click 'paste'. You might just get evry lucky. Edited June 20, 2006 by JT!

Tomm
If it's just two pages, chances are you'll remember most of it. If I were you I'd just get typing. I guarantee that you'll spend longer trying to sort it out than just re-typing those pages.
Gavyn.
your pc should save every ten minutes automatically or at least mine does just open word again and it should come up with something like "windows has detected a document which has been automatically saved do you wish to recover this document " then just click yes
