Hobnobs
Thats a pretty awesome design, at least we know our cash is actually being spent on R&D.
Mark W
Is it pretty much just a disc mount you bolt on then? Does it have that single bolt or is there more to it? Kinda hard to tell from that pic...
Will Arnold
Is it pretty much just a disc mount you bolt on then? Does it have that single bolt or is there more to it? Kinda hard to tell from that pic...qr/bolts go though the dropout bit, then it bolts on with that single bolt. tis a fantastic idea because your brake is always aligned! Will
adamtrials
Looks like the axle goes through disk mount so that you can move itback and forth to change the wheelbases and help stop it from moving aroung thatsingle bolt...Damn Will beat me to it... Mark W
Just seems odd it looks like such a skimpy design bearing in mind the amount of reinforcement frames with disc-mounts have to stop them snapping the frame/dropouts at all... We'll see I guess
Greetings
At least it's easy to replace if something cracks/breaks.
Josh Greenan!!!!!!!!!!
Will it fit on any other frame?
Hobnobs
Guess is not the new echo/zoo range because of dropout shape. Any frame with a standard dropout as found on older echo models, t-pros etc it will probably work.
future orange 660
whyte 19 anyone?i think mods and stock frames at that should have the same kind of chain adjustment as these bikes. sorry if some already dohttp://www.bikemagic.com/news/images/whyte19_dropout_big.jpg
STEVE-0
That is officially weird! You can change the angle and everything good idea i suppose.Every mech hanger I've had I've snapped quite easily therefore steel is the only way forward! anzo
Would this adapter fit to a t-pro frame if I were to drill and tap out a thread for the bolt?
ogre
Would this adapter fit to a t-pro frame if I were to drill and tap out a thread for the bolt? possibly (this is all a guess btw) you;ll need quit a large dropout, at a guess that canti leve will create a huge moment and could rip out your dropout could be worth a try though (phone iolo)
adamtrials
Looks like quite a small/ normal size dropout to me, i dont know what t-prodropouts look like so I cant comment on that... I wouldnt really want to risk it.If people want, in a few days I may be able to send plans to make an a2z disk mountadapter for flat plate dropouts if people would like them...
