adamtrials
I would reccomend trying to spend more, around £200 will get you a good secondhand T-Pro off the secondhand bit here, T-Birds like theone on ebay really arent that great. boris_on_trials
For £250 you can get a NEW Onza T-vee. Every one says there poo but mines ok. It does the job, and if your learning like me you don't want to buy an expencive bike just to find out you dont like trials.
rgv46
Yeah beacuse i dont want to be forking out on a bike then realise i dont like it or im poo!im going to look around
anzo
Go that little bit further with price if you can, reason being that something as little as 50 quid can take you up a model, and it will save you money in the long run.For example, if you get the T-Pro, its only about 400 brand new, once you start to develop, you can taylor the bike to your needs, eg. change freewheel, brakes ect. And its cheaply done, at the end of the day you'll still have a decent frame that is nice to ride.Although, on the other hand, to save 50 quid you could by a bike and spend 50 quid on whatever parts you need (although it'll probably get you a set of pads and a brake lever) to update the bike a bit.Its just finding that happy medium between a bag of shit and a cheap bike, harder than it sounds, especially on Ebay. You're better off buy from this forum.

boris_on_trials
T-Bird's and T-vee's are usualy the bottom of the market..T-vees arn't that bad there so under rated. Yes there not as good as most other bikes but they can be good to start on and there cheap.
onzatprodude
T-vees arn't that bad there so under rated. Yes there not as good as most other bikes but they can be good to start on and there cheap.but you said buy a t-vee for £240 (i think) but if you had that amount of money you could buy a decent spec'd tpro which would improve you riding alot quicker then the t-vees
sunn_bmixx
it will be worth waiting a little while and getting a better bike

BIG L
but you said buy a t-vee for £240 (i think) but if you had that amount of money you could buy a decent spec'd tpro which would improve you riding alot quicker then the t-veesDon't dis onza t vees. It only held me back slightly with my sidehops and bunny hops but i did a 6ft 8 gap (small drop) and droped a 7ft roof! They are amazing starter bikes but now i have an onza t pro and that rides like a beast!
Danny Kearns
Hey up matey, I bet you are abit confused but most of us were like that at one point. So take a look around and see what you like.I would recommend a t-pro or a zona zip, great bikes. The zona is alot stronger than the t-pro but meh you r a learner so that does not really matter. As for a t-vee or a t-bird, would recommend a t-bird out of them two. Reason being t-birds come with a 19" backwheel and magura hs33's and overall a nicer looking. When i rode a mates t-vee for a week because i wanted try a short bike out for a bit and they are absolutely horrible, i could not even sidehop 20" on it.So there you go, take your pick, at the end of the day mate its your choice you have got ride the damn thing.Dan.
