Ali C
I have a bit of ginger in my beard, I always thought it was creasote, but it grows back when I shave, so I dont think it is.

yoyoyo
james porter is fatEDIT: and southern Northen jealousy. The only reason your so thin is because your always shivering in the cold, whereas we occasionally get a bit of sunshine. The shivering acts as constant exercise. anzo
a) What is the difference between amateur and professional use? surely professionals look after their parts better.B ) Its a trials hub. That would mean it should be used for trials, therefore it should last under the stresses trials causes on the hub.c) Rally Drivers tyres are in no way an equivalent component to a bicycle hub.d) People can't do better thats why companies design these products, but maybe they should have tested them better first before releasing.Meh I'm sure that drive shells are f**king up left right and centre on most hubs, just no one ever says anything.A. Is that a serious question? Its the same reason that I'm not getting paid to ride B. But trials is an unpredictable sport. Yes, it SHOULD withstand the abuse of trials, but whats trials for ME and whats trials for PORTER is a completely different thing. Hope would have tested it and developed it to withstand the upmost force possible for that material. However, this nothing on this earth that will make it indestructable.C. I was comparing the two. As in the tyres will be good, but they don't last long in the 'right hands'. I was saying the hubs are good, but in the right hands it won't live for very long.D. Hope is a company with a very good reputation. I can safely bet that they do have the resources and equipment to test a product further than most trial part manufactures on the market. It probably won't have AS much testing as say a Chris King or a Profile as trials is probably the most unproductive 'section' of hope, who knows? mtbjosh
i want to see ash eat a pro2 and give up his bike as he said he would do if they broke/skipped whatever he said and basically, its a bloody trials hub, lets hope this was a one off break and most peoples wont do it, does anybody know any of the testers for the hubs as this one wasnt promoted by anyone on here other than ash and bits from wanyio. it wouldnt be a good situation for every 'hard' riders hub exploding on them would it, we cant all ride like a fairy
ramps
He did say he would put his bike on it, but quickly edited the post because everyone was saying it would and has skipped. DO NOT DENY IT ASH. I remember vividly.

Mr_Pitbull
Its just as Hard-to-the-core as snapping/cracking a Profile infact its less hardcore imo.Despite Porter cracked his Hope, people are still going to be buying them, it would stop me anyways. Brian Bleech
thats not cool get a BLACK hub, black is whack!!!! 12 stone Porter as if you look well short too, im 12.5 stone but im 18 im allowed I am 10 stone and 25, do I win?It was probably a fault in the metal or something out of Hopes hand. Porter isnt the only 'go big' rider thats harsh on hubs and how many others have broke. I am still unsure why a lot of people who have run kings for ages with no probs suddenly jumped ship to hope, but they are still a good hub imo!anyhow aren't most people argueing just to see someone eat a hub? adamtrials
It was definatly the abundance of sea salt on that hub that caused the failure
mat hudson
i think it was that porter landed a massive dropgap to backwheel two times in porthcawl(as seen on trialnoir)
