Siders77
Yup, I have it. It's sooooooooo annoying as it's keeping me from going out as much as I used to. Even when I'm inside it's bad. Put some vaseline around the edge of your nostrils that way the pollen sticks to that so not as much goes up into your nose.

martian_hamster
It works a bit better if you spread out when you take them (for me) because when i take one in the morning and take one again at about 2-3 i'm fine! Cheers

Siders77
Oooo yeh, forgot to add this, If you get some Optrex (Eye bath kit) and use that when your eyes start watering and getting itchy it washes the pollen out of them so you're good for a while. Has anyone seen my shoe?
I have hayfever too.Zirtek works really well for me, I find rotating what tablets your taking stops you building a resistance to the tablets.Nasal sprays are good but they make my symptoms worse for the first few minutes. ashby-trials
when i go out riding i have to wear sunglasses even though i wear glasses and take a hankerchief. sunglasses make your eyes feel relaxed.

tom s
Things that I take at the minute are one piriteze/piriton tablet, opticrom eye drops (itch like a b*****d when they first go in, but work well after that) whenever I feel the need to take them, and beconase nose spray. It's proper killing me this year like
the_ferret
as wierd as it sounds hayfever is mainly due to other allergies such as food.....this is what i have been told by my doctor and now by slight changes to my diet and loads of cranberry juice its no where near as bad just the odd sneeze and sniffle! look it up on internet or ask your gp about it oggy

Apparently it works even better if you buy local honey from your area. That way your body builds up the immunities to your specific area. Never tried it though.
