Walleee
Looks longer, higher BB perhaps, lower standover, allround sexy as f**k.Having said that, you can't really tell much about geometry from a picture.. (despite what's being said in the charge bikes thread)
Gaz M
saw a pic of this a few weeks back ,personally i think it looks crap, no magura mounts and by the looks of the left seastay i cant see the production ones having any either, can actually imagine it to ride really nice though, cesar and dani have always had longer bikes than the production models . i hated rear disk but when it comes out i bet itll ride very coool Edited June 17, 2006 by Gaz M
Mark W
Didn't spot the other thread, so I'll merge 'em both!]Official Monty rider Dani Comas appeared in the two last races of Spanish Championship with a bike equipped with a very different frame respect standard bike. We don´t know anything about it but, at first view, we can see that it is smaller and the reinforcements in the "seat" area have dissapeared. Dani Comas said that this frame is running very well and didn´t tell any more.Monty getting with the times?

Sam Nugent
the bad thing is profile disk hubs are spaced wrong to fit montysYou can squash 'em in though. My echo fixed hub was too long aswel, but i wedged it in and its absolutely fine now. It's because monty hubs are made shorter... don't have a clue why??? Monty have got to be the second most stupidly-expensive bike brand, ever! Leading the way, in my opinion, is Koxx. The release of the XTP-R (and it's pricetag) helped me to make this decision! But, yeah, the Monty does look really nice. Look's a lot lower for more clearance. I hope they don't change the geometry to much as i think they are perfect as they are... But, unfortunately trials is evolving, fast. And i'm stuck in the past.Oh, i'm a poet ^ .Cheers,Joe. Walleee
Not to open a can of worms, but could it be said that while koxx are certainley at the forefront of all things trials, they seem to literally live it anyway, Monty are still certainley up there, but they seem to be more in the shadows, keeping to their old traditions.....I'd like to find out if it is indeed longer than the majority of 06 Ti's or if the reduced standover is what has created the look of it being longer. Also, this stuff about dani and caesar having longer than factory spec frames, where does such info come from?
