Wright Pads
Okay be warrned if you don't have a strong stomach Sent Miniman aka Alex T to go get some stuff from Superdrug to seal it all up for me. Did the job and i carried on rididng. Latter on we noticed it had changed into the begginis of a flag for Japan!!!Okay how this happen, Small 2 foot ledge to an 8ft gap. Side hoped to back wheel the ledge and then gapped out. Mad eit all nicely but my right ankle gave in due to a weak and damiged ligament and i slpped off tut pedal, spun it round a full 180 and samshed into my shin and then drag all the way down smashing the top of my ankle and then landing on the side of it. Pretty lame but it has smashed the front half of my shin in and shattered the side of my ankle which sucks.Did this sunday night and the hopsital stappled me back togther and glued it too which was odd. Made me walk out on it even...i had 6 x-ray to check and they said i'd only sprained my ankle and deep gash/laceration.Tuesday moring misis woke up screaming, blood everywhere and nice big bit of chunky white stuff poking out. Back up to see the ''docs'' and they checke dit all again and said what i'd exactly done. Now i'm stuck on a set of crutches which suck as they hurt more than my leg. Mind they don;t half build you arms and abs up.I've been told i'll probs be off bike for 7 month to a year which is a bit of bummer. Just as well i got my new rig to build my self back up doing some xc and single track.I'm off again to see the docs on sunday to see what they sya and to have a newer dressing put on.Expecting my physo to have a look at it all soon as they did nowt on my ankle bar look at x-ray's which is a bit poo.Shin pads really do help. What was fun about this experinces...Alex looking ove rit and feeling sick and ill. 1st thing i said when i did it is ''thats gonna hurt in the moring, said rather causlay'' and then me rididng kinda for the rest of the day and getting laods of free Mars ice cream in town off a few uber hot chick..yummy (both ice cream and the chicks)Oh and yeah i'm quitting rididng trials but sunday was my last kinda ride til lthis happend Edited June 16, 2006 by Wright Pads

Just don't rush into any riding that could make it worse. Seing as though you've been told you can ride for 7 months, to be riding this weekend is pushing it. Edited June 16, 2006 by JT! T-BAD
similar to what my mate did, but his is smaller. [attachmentid=5405][attachmentid=5406]serves him right for using baby pedals...

Lee Cable
dude, i have a spiral brake of my tibia, i saw my leg fold forwards, in the middle. I very much doubt that you are going to be out of riding for 7 months, the doctor said that i will be out max 12 weeks... and what pain killers you on? yoyoyo
Surely if you were ok to carry on riding then your ankle can't be that bad.Nasty cuts though.
