Mr_Pitbull
After using Plazmatic CRM's all my life and ZOO pads, im after a different pad. I like my brake to be Loud, grabby and its more than likely al be using a grind:). Out of the Blues and the Reds what would you recomend in terms of how I like my brake to be? Which gives the best wear rate etc. But either way im deffinetly going to go for the heatsinks next.Feedback would be appreciated.PS. Porter was raving about some Heatsink pads he had, i just can't remember what colour he used.

Will Arnold
there are different reds, the ones that must be cut by hand/jig are best, whereas the moulded ones aren't as good, but still prettey grabby!he's doing some testing on more moulded reds, so they might be good

Clarky
blue's are some of the best pads ive used! and for £14 you cant realy moan cheaper than most pads on the market I ran blues for a comp and they were amazing the hold was imense i was so impressed!! and believe me i have ran lots of beast brakes. It had a fresh grind but still the next day i got them wet and the brake never worked from then on the pads were like cheese turning to dust, however the reds are beast in wet and dry can't beat themClarky
Jason
I use reds on a fairly worn grind with a bit or tar. Great hold, and noise, and they've not really worn down much within the 3 months

Ben Geary
I've had red and blues, both in cnc's backings .. personally i think the blues beat the reds, the reds were good but had no noise and no bite and the hold wasnt extremley good as for the blues there awesome, make a nice noise and have shit loads of bite with very good hold. The blue pads are awesome and i would pick there over the reds anyday now that i've ran both pads. The reds were ok i suppose ... they had no bite what so ever though witch i hate, the hold was ok they did slip quite a bit but not to much, overall the blues beat my reds and both pads were used on fresh meduim grinds and were set up spot on.Go for the blues
Egg Fried Rice
even though this isnt heatsink, get koxx bloxx browns, very grabby as it is a hard compound, very very loud with a grind and a very good wear life but they are quite expensive thanksJohn K
An_toin3
I have been using the blue one for 2weeks now, and that's the best brake I've ever had !!, woud have love to try the red instead but didn't had enough money for them ! anyway, the HS blue are quite loud on medium - harsh grind, wear rate is pretty good ! and they have a lot of bite and hold pretty well !! Tried them in the wet a little bit and they were still good ! Red or blue, both seem to be great !

They give a great grab. He is only 8 but since we started using blues he is able to use fingure to brake. so they get my vote. They are soft and don't last very long but they don't last that long but hey what do you want ?? Robs Dad

Ali C
never ran heatsink blues, but I had a set of reds and I liked them lots.On a fresh grind they were beastly!! mega grab, mega hold mega HONK!However, I found as the grind wore down, they would glaze over and loose all of the bite, perfect for manuals, but not great for natural. Ewannnn
I was extremely dissapointed with my heatsink blue pads, after a few hours of riding the pads wore down and this tar like stuff was coming out of it in flakes and was sticking to the rim, the more i used the more came out of the pad Dont think i will buy the blues ever again Edited June 15, 2006 by Ewannnn
BeNNy
My Blues were really good for the first couple of weeks, had them on a fresh grind..But after some weeks, the brake kept on slipping and had less bite, i had a look at them and it had collected alot of dust, what Ewannnn said..was like tar stuck on the pad, was quite hard to get off as well Still good pads though
