Dan Jones
Looking for something similar to the aluminium legged, steel steerer Koxx fork (for 26" wheel) but with V brake mounts. Does anyone know if something like this exists and if so where from? Thanks Edited June 14, 2006 by trialsy

Dan Jones
Yeah, i'm sure they are fine for most people, I tend to be quite heavy on forks.I'm not sure what the strength differance between and alloy and steel steerer is, it's more of a confidence thing for me really. benno
From past experience steel steerers on alloy legs aren't as strong as they sound, because you have to bond them together, you can't weld steel to alu. Hence all the Brisa and Koxx Forxx in the enitre world snapping.
chrishayton
yeh steel steerer forks tend to be fairly crap. get some echo urbans. or the new zoo forks ( may be disc only however) id definatly get urbans or controls over koxx.

Zordon
If he's a monster maybe he need to get some koxx st forks. They're entirely steel though.
