Mr Motivator
Facking bargain.Doesn't say how you connect it to your pc though or anything. I only have USB ports, no serial pins, no firewire, no nothing.
Robwalker
PLEASE NOTE: We do not recommend this USB device for operation under Windows XP.The brand new 204e GPS receiver from Haicom replaces and improves upon the very popular 203e model.Looks like there is some sort of USB reciever, give them a ring Hope ive helped, think im going to invest in one of these. (when i get a car )
Mr Motivator
Yeah it does actually. My bad. They do one for £29 too but it doesn't talk to you.I'm gonna buy the £39 one for sure. This is going to be soo cool!Ah no hang on. It is actually just the software. When you click order you will see.You have to buy the GPS USB reciver seperately. I think I'll ring them.Actually I just dont know Edited June 14, 2006 by member1495
Prawny Baby
i use autoroute 2006 on my laptop, and it works amazingly!the program autoroute costs around £100, and the 2006 version comes with a gps reciever. the gps reciever has a cable 4ft long, so i usually tuck mine on top of one of the sun visors up high, and have the lappy on the passengers seat, or being opperated by the passenger.as many will know, its originally a route planner prog, like the aa road map website, but much better the new version with the gps pane works really nicely, and has all the functions of much more expensive satnav systems.edit: just noticed mcn are in plymouth! i drove past salcombe road yesterday! MasterOfGussets
Try Pocket Streets for Pocket PC. I think it comes with Autoroute for free so it might be a free download from the Microsoft website.

Mr Motivator
Haha, so I got the GPS dongle and the software, then realized that I would need more memory to run it.Then I had to buy an expansion pack, and then had to buy a CF card to go in the expansion pack. Then I realized that where my pocket pc hasn't been used for about 3 years, the battery was dead, so I had to buy a new battery.Whole lot was only s'posed to cost £44.00, but it's ringing up to £76.00 at least Oh well, it'll be usefull, I have plans where to mount it in car.
