adamtrials
First impression- looks like a template. Bad.Then the titles look a bit tacky and are tricky to read. That picture is massive, then resized to 240 x 180,meaning it takes for ever to load. On the next page, sales, a t-rex for £850? doubt it.As i move into the other pages, the color scheme of the text keeps changing, looking immensley naff.Content of the site isnt that bad.My opinion - try making your own site. I dont mean that in a bad way i just meanit will be way more fun/ valuable to you and will look loads better and more attractive to potential sponsors.Simple is the key, its a bit complex imo Edited June 14, 2006 by adamtrials
unicycle boy
Its good though i agree that some of it could be better.I suggest sticking with the same colour for much of the text, maybe change the colours for headings and subheading etc. Also I suggest keeping with the same font for the text (at least on each page) as it can get confusing when the text keeps changing.Altogether I would say a good site which could be even better with a few modifications
scazz
What? You link to trials-forum.co.uk is not at the *top* of the list? Sacrilegious of the highest order! Adam trials is right: the pic on the first page needs to be sized down, and the template has sha* itself when viewed by firefox. Try and scab some add-free hosting if you can - loads and loads of adds already, without a sponsor's adds. As a side note, I just watched the first vid; really nice control, though pretty small gaps for someone with your level of back wheel control. I liked that rail ride you did, very nice. How long have you been riding? To conclude: the site looks like a conversation with someone who's just got MSN and is enjoying posting emoticons at every available opportunity. Most of what their saying is worth reading, but black background and naff titles and templates? Whilst a lot of the content is good, it DEFINITLY looks like a first site.CheersScazz
Joe_Kearney
I think you say 'feel free to' about 8 times, reminds me of Alan Partridge, 'Needless to say, I had the last laugh' Agree with some of the feedback here could do with your own made template, looks like a freewebs template to me.I like the vid on there though Edited June 14, 2006 by Joe_Kearney
