Grinding

Okey, i've used the search function but it all says diffrent, stone disc, metal disc, 90angle, 45degree angle, clockwise, counter clockwise

so let's solve this

What gives the best grind (for ex koxx bloxx)

what disc should i use, how fast should i go at the rim and wich angle?

i'd appreciate all help i can get since my brake slides real much right now

I've had good enough results with a stone grinding disc at about a 45 degree angle. My angle grinder only goes one speed. I did the grind and it was good enough when I tested so I didn't muck about any more

Make sure you've got some eye protection first.

Earlier on before my exam I was watching all the t33zr bail movies, and I saw he had a video titled 'how to grind' ( http://tv.isg.si/site/filebrowser/teezr )

I've never seen it, and my internet is really gay so I can't have a look at it, but hopefully it'll be of some help

been through a bit of these stuff, , bothers me how my grinds become so dull each time,

should i go with a stone cutting or a metal cutting?

Different people have different results.

It really is a case of suck it and see.

Grinding disks can be picked up from between 80p and £1.20, so it's not a life changing decision between stone and metal cutting, buy one of each.

Peoples grinders all grind at differnet speeds, people hold the rim at different angles, they move the grinders at different speeds down the rim, they go over bits of the rim twice, etc etc.

You just have to try it on your rim, and see what you find best.

I have found out iolo's method of disgutingly harsh grinds:

Put the wheel in a truing stand or similar

set the grinder going and touch on at 0 degrees (parallel)

watch the wheel spin at 11,000 rpm or whatever your grinder is

Then grind!

Mwahahahaa i did this and it came out so beasty! Dont forget goggles!!!!!
