ogre
It's like punishing ginger people I suppose, but then they don't cost the NHS anything They can do all you need is a bat and some "normal"-hair coloured freinds...
tom tom
Some people just can't help being fat. This is something you are born with (some kind of cells which accumulate fat and you can't get rid of them) so having people who can't deal with this in any way pay for their body weight is very unfair. My mum has a few english friends which are very fat and despite a great effort they can't help it.It's like punishing ginger people I suppose, but then they don't cost the NHS anything by obese im thinking properly fat people that can help it
Bigman
yup!by obese im thinking properly fat people that can help itor they should be shot on sight...So would i fall into this catagory then???It seems that because ALOT of the people on this forum are thin or only have a few extra pounds they find it hard to see from a larger persons view, i mean when i am out on a ride and there are people riding with no shirts and they have very little fat if any on their bodys i get jelous, i have tried to lose weight on many occasions but it is VERY hard, it is all ok for you guys who don't even need to think about needing to lose weight saying "oh yeh, fat people can lose weight easily blah blah blah"I have been over weight all my life, i am now 19st ish and have been for abit now, i am planning over the summer to lose some weight, mainly because i will be working so much and buying my own food i will be able to control what i eat easier. And it isn't as if i do not excersize, i mean i try and ride as much as i can, but i know trials isn't the most arrobic excersize which is why during the summer i am gunan be getting a road bike and doing some miles on that to help. Not quite sure what else to say........Adam
anzo
It's like punishing ginger people I suppose, but then they don't cost the NHS anything I bet you'd be suprised with the statistics of that. People getting beaten up because of being ginger, self harming, allergic reaction to hairdye...

(i discussed it with my kickass history teacher) and any of you who have done history will know how this is how some dictatorships kicked off (ok a big switch but it could happen), first they started with smokers now fatties, when are they going to regulate what we'r eating etc? *My opinion of this has started to change lol*
Will Arnold
i think taxing fat people is a good idea, aslong as they're able to walk and stuff, where they have no excuse not to lose weight. its a bit of an insentive to make people lose weight IMO! In the heat I would love to take my shirt off whatever, but to be honest, its not a preety site, and I would be reaally self concouse about it. I am 16 and a bit stone, not as big as others, but big enough for me. I totally agree with what your saying, people say its easy to loose weight, but its not. Like when your hungry or something, the first thought is'nt 'what will add the least to my size/calories or whatever' Its whats the nicest you can find. The after thoughts are 'crap, I'm tring to loose some and I just went to maccies...'And I think the fat tax is bull. As Smo said, and others. Free NHS is available to all, and thats the way it should be. People who abuse there body will probs die young/ earlier anyway, so there only using the NHS for 50 years? Aposed to someone who might be large, but the'll be active enough to stay reasonably healthy.Tom
Mr Motivator
Haha, I've always joked about charging the fat extra tax.Teach them for being so fat.
