In theory wouldnt it make the back wheel spin faster? Obviously it doesnt but hey.

If your pedalling to turn a small chainring it's going to feel to be in an easy gear but if that small chainring is attatched to a larger one on the other side going to the rear cassette it's going to spin as fast as the small chainring and go round faster than normal? :huh: confused myself

I don't think it would work like that. It's just probably a way of getting better pedalling efficiency i.e. won't get as much pedalling feedback from the suspension
