Mr Motivator
She's called Genny and currently she has a wheelbase of 1005mm, a reach of 620mm, chain stays of 400mm and a BB rise of 55mm. She also has horizontal dropouts, a built in mech hanger and a square toptube. She's also made of 4130 chromoly! She's lovely The backwheel and cranks are only temporary, when I manage to get my other burns off my other bike with a leeson bash, and the back wheel will be a mono on a d521 when i build the hub up again. Oh and I need to trim the steerer tube a bit. What do you all think?I like to think that she is old school twisted with new school. nafan
"She" is a beut! Don't like the top tube though... Does it feel stroooong? And what's up with the cranks? I'll have 'em Nathan
Mr Motivator
Yeah it feels fairly flexless The other cranks have stripped, so it's muchos effort getting them off!I might put a propper seat on there too.
Davetrails
looks like the b*****d child of a pace and a leeson, nice one sam. come riding soon and i'll have a bash on it
mat hudson
haha that looks awesome bet it rides wierd.
Mr Motivator
Strangely it actually rides really nice. You can get SO much control on the back wheel Front wheel moves are lively due to the almost 90deg headtube angle, but I'll get used to it.I'm actually considering riding this propperly
mat hudson
why not put a 24 inch wheel on the back? would give a more pleasent headangle and the bb wouldnt feel as silly
Mr Motivator
Yeah maybe. I'd have to get some 24" rims though, and considering this whole bike cost £3.45 (for the top tube) I dont really want to break the bank Anyhoo, heres some better pictures;

Took it home, cut it up with a grinder, welded it back in trials spec. £3.45 was for the top tube from b&q
