T-MAG-05-DAN
you could just buy some new 4 bolt mounts not the evo.Dan

At0m_AnT
Yes i coud buy but thats not the point.I what to faind a way to put the evo clamps and i what the brake to work without problems is their a way?
Davetrails
you can do it, and it will work. but only for a while.the mounts go on angled, so it will ruin your brake pads, and there is limited/no adjustability.not really worth it in the long run, but it will do for a day or two.i'm sure you can find some cheap 4-bolt mounts somewhere. The calipers can be angled slightly, too.You could do it but you would need to buy V-Brake adapters I would have thought. Easier and stronger to just part with the cash and get 4-bolt clamps. Davetrails
no it is actually possible to take the elbows off of the evo mounts and fit them as if they were 4 bolt mounts.i've done it a few times, it can be done, but they really have nothing over 4-bolt mountsit's already been said, buy some 4 bolt mounts. I'm quite sure you can't.It really isn't worth doing, at all. I'm sort of does work, but your pads will wear at stupid angles etc.
DAB
stop being an idiot and bye/fit the right clamps....... yes the evos do fit on but they cause alighnment problems and aren't worth it..
' Mart '
it can be done i did it with my old t-bird,if you strip all the evo mounts down to just the clamps and then turn them upsdie down and use the left on the right and the right on the left the sides become parrell to the wheel and you can mount them like that.altho i woudlt recommend it as 4-bolt mounts are only £15 on tarty and you would just waste away the threads in the frame and why would you want to ruin an echo frame or any other frame for that matterBUY 4 BOLT MOUNTS AND DONT BE CHEAP
Si-man
Ever thought that he may not have any money to buy some mounts???Think before opening your gobs
willdasexybeast
it is possible you just get 4 bolts (probably avalible from your local bike shop) that would normally be used for 4 bolt mounts. you then take all the quick release mounts and everything offf of the metal things that hold the brakes. you then just simply put the 4 bolts through the 4 holes and bolt the whole thing to the frame.
