Concussion
Doubt it, it's one of those jobs were only the right tool will do IMO! Buy a good quality chain tool (park tools) you should deffo get some use out of it, Edited June 7, 2006 by Concussion

Steve B
unless you have a crazily powererd tounge. its a park tool all the way. you may think you will use it only once but they can save your backside when you least expect it.....check out chainreaction for them
CurtisRider
keep away from the cheaper units, they just bend/breakpersonally i think my park chain tool is wank, actually pretty much everything ive had from park recently has been dissapointing except for my wheel trueing stand, but that was 230quid so i kinda hope it lasts ive found alot of my topeak stuff to be very good, although i havent used one of thier chain tools yet, im going to try one once the park snapsdefinately invest in a good tool, it makes faffing with chains far more of a pleasure
Jason
Where can i buy a chain tool from and any one no of any cheap ones? Thanks Chris121 Just go into halfords. They do park tool & bike hut ones (cheaper). You could try a centre punch and hammer, but a chain tool is much easier and is less likely to bugger up any links. cookie456_the2nd
The bikehut one breaks if your not gentle enough. Park one pins bend, same as the standard halfrauds one. Topeak is the best one.
Jason
I've used the bikhut several times and all good but I don't doubt it'll break sooner or later.
