ScotchDave
Really like those, especially the one with the lens flare, what is it that causes lens flare?
F-Stop Junkie
Not knowing the Nikon system, do you have to set the slave flash power manually, or does it set itself automatically? It seems like a couple of the shots have overly strong flash, while the first one is about spot on. The one with the rider in a pool of light is cool too, though I'd further darken it to reduce the highlights.I'm still not keen on arse shots, even when artily lit
Rob_P
What causes lens flare? It's when the flash or sun is at a certain angle to the lens and causes it to reflect off the glass sorta thing. You can prevent it by using a lens hoodChris- Well on the Nikon you can obviously have it on TTL/BL or Manual to set the power, but as soon as you choose the wireless option you can't select the power (as far as I know) I just tend to mix it up by using the diffuser or settting the zoom. Either way you can always use a smaller apature, the tree stump one was F4 I think.
Davetrials
Love em you beast, i cant get a flash gun acroding to jessops
Rob_P
Tell wessops to suck your shaven wang!I know for a fact you can buy a flashgun and put a slave cell on the bottom and use that, like I said before.Fujis only fire one flash, unlike DSLRs that fire pre flash, so as it's one flash it would work perfectly. For instance, my mate shot this badboy on his S5500 with a handheld flashgun.....CLICK
