Gilman
Hey guys,Well i have been thinking of buying some new cranks for my stock bike, and was trying to decide which way to go. I was thinking of buying the bonz cranks or maybe getting the zoo cnc ffw cranks and putting a track cog on them. The issue i am having is that I like the zoo cranks alot, but I am fearing that I will strip the freewheel threads. On the other hand I feel that the bonz cranks are a safer way to go, although I do like the smaller more compact style cranks. I guess what I am asking is which way you guys go, and what have you heard about either of these cranks, good or bad? ooh yeah I am looking for isis style. Also if you have any other suggestions please let me know. Thanks for all your input.Matt. ashby-trials
the zoo cranks are good why dont you try middleburn or tensile
fruitbat
Middleburn i would say in either ISIS or tapered, ISIS are much stiffer and with a name like Middleburn you know they will last.Frooty

Dan6061
Middleburns seem to be popular for stocks. Have been for years. Come in ISIS and Sq Taper, and 170mm 175mm (I think) I've never heard of any snapping...

ZHI-sam
no get a middleburn, my mate has snaped 4 tensile cranks. it realy depends that type of rider you are to be honest. are you a techinical rider or a street rider?
Danny Kearns
Well i run 170 tensiles on my mod and being running them 1 year 6 months and i am quite a heavy rider who goes big and they are not cracked or havnt snapped yet (touch wood). But if it was down to me i would get middleburn 170 isis cranks and get a 16 tooth cog. Beast. . The reason i did not get them is because they were alot more expensive at the time and money was low.Cheers !

the judge
I see, I was on about the others as I thought he wanted a normal chainring on 'em i.e. the reason for not really wanting zoo's. Never mind, we're all friends here Edited June 7, 2006 by the judge
