Danny
Going back to an argument I had with a mate over the weekend where is your hot tap? At uni they are all on the right yet at home there on the left. Which is most common.Sorry for the randomness

Walleee
Voted left, cos that's how my bathroom is, but then realised it's right in the kitchen
thesubway
Voted mixed as taps in bathrooms should be on left and kitchen taps on right Adam

Greetings
Having hot and cold water in two taps is by far the stupidest thing I have ever heard in my life. It's possible we had taps like that when still living in England but then I don't remember that
Janson
***!I don't understand the two separate taps you have in britain. I understand that they're easier to maintain, but how awkward aren't they?!
Danny
Most English people have mixer taps in the kitchen but only new more modern bathrooms seam to have them. You foreigners are missing on on having to quickly alternative between hot and cold taps so you don't freeze/burn your hands
Dr Greenthumb
mine vary i believe, i mean our whole house is wonky and built wrongI mean who puts a sink in a spare bedroom? Sam Ward
you reallt should loose the mixed tap because it doesnt guess if you want hot or cold you still need to turn it to one side or even turn the tap on one side. sam
Joe_Elding
Left in Kitchen but right in my old house. Mr Motivator
In any room with a toilet they should be plumbed in on the left. Most people are right handed and wipe with thier right hand, so you use your left hand to turn the hot tap on and wash your right hand first to stop spreading germs so freely. Its the same in the kitchen, you hold your plate to rinse it with your right hand and use your left hand to turn the tap on.
