Frame Upgtrade

Yes the zona zip is alot longer than the t-bird,

Alot of people say that the zona zip feels heavy but once your on it you like the feel of it. In my opinion i would say (if you had the money) go for the zoo python 2006.

It's the exact same as the zona except longer and personally looks much better aswell.

Hope i helped

Ewan

If he rides a lot of proper street (I.e. Bunny hops, manuals ect and he doesn't mean that he rides on streets) he'd probably want to go for the Zip as shorter = Easier to manual and bunnyhop and it's flickier. A shorter bike will probably feel nicer from a T-Bird as well.

Hmmm, nice frame yes, long yes, and thats your problem :P . I think you'll just find it too long, overall making it alot harder to control. For the time being i think your better off going down the lines of a Monty 221 Pro frame would suit you ideally, and fairly cheap aswel. Or maybe a T-Lite although there a bit more expensive and your going to get pretty similar quality from both frames, so in my opinion i'd go for the monty and stick to a short frame which your going to be in control over rather than a long frame which is going to take time to learn/addapt to ride on.

no the zoo python is not longer they both have 1045wb, the only difference is that the zip has a +55bb rise whereas the python has a +50bb rise. At the end of the day why buy a python for £270 when you can buy more or less the same bike performance wise for £160?

I'd say definetly change from the t-bird to the zip, because if your anything like me your hating how short it is and you want something longer.

Right i ride a zona zip and have mates who ride zoo python's, personally my zona feels nicer than both there pythons put together. In my opinion the zona's look nicer aswell, the pythons get boring with the same colour all the time, its just silver silver silver  .

The zona has a bb rise of 55mm the same as the pythong and there are both 1045 whelbase. What hight are you mate because sometimes it affects your riding because of the length of the bike and if you are going from a t-bird to a zona then you are going have to upgrade your bike a bit.

For example: new cranks and chainring, bashplate aswell (i dont run one :P ). and a freewheel and a rear sprocket on your backwheel.

Then that gets you sorted. (Y)

Zona mate defo. (Y)

Cheers !

what about getting an onza tmag frame, there a bit shorter than the zona zips and if your short it will probably be more suited to you.

if your interested i have a brand new one in a box :P

cheers

Dan

Abit shorter, there just abit too short. 1000 wheelbase, so thats going to be shorter than a t-bird i think.

Cheers !
