Mr Motivator
So, I've been hopping about now for 3 years. First I had a Planet-X Zebdi Mk5, then A Planet-X Ali Bongo, and finally a Toxsin 1.I basically had the same bike each time except going longer each time. Being tall and all, this was a great move. However, I just seem to be getting a little bored and too familliar with my bike. I know it sounds silly, but I dunno I think I need a change.I recently started using my old Echo bars instead of my Zoo! risers for a different feel which felt great and actually rode better with the Echos!I mainly ride street but enjoy natural too. I keep meaning to start comps, but being constantly busy, it's pretty hard.Trials seems to be going up at the bottom bracket mostly now, all the bikes I hae ridden with high BBs feel pretty naf really allthough I have been seeing some brilliant riding happening on them.I was either thinking of changing my whole bike, or just a few things. Things I don't really want to get rid of would be my King, my cranks, and my front brake. So now I'm in two minds, I either go full on UCI with a higher BB for a change, or what else I was thinking was selling up my two bikes, and getting a long 24" Iolo built up, it would have a nice long reach yet still be streety which might be pretty cool.Hmm, what do y'all think? CurtisRider
go midlength 24 i love my zoot, it rides spot on, only thing i dont like is the looks, as well....they look gay just like t rexs and all that shite doi dont find my zoot to short now, at first it felt cramped, but i think its just the way my body was positioned from being on my base-it makes you ride differently-well did me anyway try a 24 out, it feels so nice, and they feel cool for natural too, almost as flicky as a mod, but with larger wheels that roll over things almost as well as a stock

Mr Motivator
Hmmn yes, I shall have to be blagging may goes on 24s.Here's my shizwhack as she currently stands;Hmmn. Wonder what it would look like in yellow You know what else I might have to do for the summer, change back to Zoo!s beacause they look nicer, peel off the singletrack stickers and get out my 10mm drill and hole up the front wheel, and then put my freshly sharpened VP pedals back on. Then get some new forks, like Zoo! Urbans. Edited June 5, 2006 by member1495

Ali C
I say this to most people (and most ignore me) but tilt your bars back!! seriously, it will make your bike ride 100x better maybe making you stick with it and saving a lot of money.if you do go and get another bike, do me and yourself a favour and dont go high bb. I dunno about everything else, but I prefer for my bike to be enjoyable to ride, rather than just a trials riding machine.

Then I'll think about a re-spray or new build.
Mr Motivator
Less stickers and different bars.I'll put VPs back on when I find the plastic spacers for them, I might not drill my wheel now, it looks good enough. Bike needs a clean too, meh.My bars are back realllly high again. Oh well, they make gapping much less effort anyway.
