Zordon
Go for Chris King as it doesn't have pawls inside.
CurtisRider
i prefer my pro 2 over any of my previous hubs/freehweels (king, bulb, xc, acs, eno being the most notable ones)some like thier kings, others think they suck-keep them maintained and they are potentially good
Ali C
hope pro

Robwalker
Hope pro 2, and british made, top quality engneering and servicing, even better customer service. Easy to understand the mechanics and how to maintain the hub aswel, oh and the fact its a whooooole lot cheaper. So yer pro2, glad i did and never looked back.Rob
Tom Booth
Go for Chris King as it doesn't have pawls inside. I found that so funny, dunno why.Well, my two pence. I loved my king, when it was serviced corectly. it never skipped, engaged super fast and nice, and rolled forever. the noise was just a novelty ontop. I stopped using it now until i can get it sent for servicing, as its dangerous it skips at anything more then a pause hop.Tom

Si-man
because its cheap, pretty much indestructable (so far), looks the bollocks, and is british (f**k american bollocks
Ali C
you cant tell the difference between engagments.Hope is british (big thing in my books)wheel is stiffer and a lot stronger as its dishlesswheel is easier to build as it uses the same length spokes on the drive and non drive side.engagment feels stiffer than a kingVERY reliable (had mine for months now without any skips)AMAZING customer service, really quick too.Cheaper

Ali C
yours didnt sound to reliable in rhyl chris king all the wayshurrrup you!!I put the freehub body on rwong and put too much stress on the bearing and blew them, even with shrapnel in the pawls, my hub didnt slip once.kings are good, but I dont see the need to get one now that hopes are out. flipkickbs
My pro 2 shredded itself within 3 weeks, but i'm still going to say without a doubt, pro 2. The customer service is unbeatable, it was literally just a bearing that had shredded, and a leaf-spring that had snapped, but because my sprocket dug into the freehub shell a tiny amount, they replaced the entire freehub completely free of charge. They feel so solid to ride with and come as standard with an unbelievably strong axle, along with the rest of the hubs components. But whats more, it costs £130 Pro 2, no question. Concussion
I hate them both for various reasons but I suppose I'd go for the Pro 2. What choice do you have? Both slip,(they fuggin do) but at least you can get your head around how a Hope works and its not a C-ash K-iller rip-off!G`rrrr Mondays
