Ash-Kennard
I hope people buy these pads just to throw at pete on rides, would be quite funny.its definately wonky/flaredhow are the rimjams? i may want a set.
wally
Hehe i took that pic and thats my bed too. Pete sent me some of his rubber for me to try, i quickly cut it and wacked it into some backings. i took that pic to show pete before i sanded off the top edge, thats why they look a bit wobly hehe.I hope people buy these pads just to throw at pete on rides, would be quite funny.its definately wonky/flaredhow are the rimjams? i may want a set.Joes been running one of the tests sets for a while now, however the pad shape internally is not quite right, and the mould need changing before we start selling them, but so far so good. Learn the whole story before you start saying shit like that, f**ktard. I bet you wouldn't say that to his face if you met him on a ride. What is the point in this topic anyway? 011001000110010101110010
Heehee, its entirely down to him. I have met pete and talked about his pads, I have some "concerns" with the way that he was/is making. But I have a feeling he will have changed it. Rich Pearson
I don't see what the big shbang is with Pete. Granted, he is a bit f**king wierd and has some odd views on things, but he's never really done anyone much harm and if Joe, and established rider and reputable forum member, can say they're good, then I say go Wright pads, best of luck to you Pete.Of course you're all wrong because you should be using disc brakes anyway... Krisboats
What was the actual point to this topic? The only thing i can think of is its showing off a new set of pads... but at the same time it looks like more of a p**s take than anything thats supposed to be helpful. I personally don't think i'll be buying any unless they're like £5 a set. I'm not aware of any legit website selling them, i haven't been shown any way in which they've been thoroughly tested and altered to be made better due to rider feedback and with the amount of other pads being made from reputable companies i can't see how these are going to make a profit.EDIT: sorry, just read through it and that sounds quite bitchy... its not meant to be Edited June 2, 2006 by Krisboats
Al_Fel
Everyone knows the score with Pete but he's a sound dude.Get off his back and leave him to it.No one is forcing you to buy them. Why is it people these days hate new products? Whats wrong with new parts and more choice?
