Joe_Elding
Got mine today, I can only use one though because the other had so little material that the little prongs that came out of the magura to keep the backings in actually go over the pad by about 2mm, so i cant set up the barke without the lever coming to the bar or the little prongs rubbing on the wheel. trialsinchris
ok well i was going to test on a dx32 (mod) and i did have some tar on too, so i bled my brake and all went well with that, nextly i went out and re-set-up my brake so it was just right, put pads in and did what we all do when we get new pads, i stood over the bike with front brake on pedalled it round and pressed the brake on to hear how it sounds, however the problem occurred when the pads were fully on the rim and it didn't stop it spinning at all it just carried on going round, the brake felt solid as well so its not like they weren't on right, and it was definitely set up and bled right.maybe the pads got contaminated or something, they looked and felt fine, seemed a little hard but that wouldn't affect it like that, a grind may solve the problem but i know of no other pads that keep spinng with the brake locked on (well should be)there must be a simple solution, something that went wrong that i did, hows everyone elses going? and are you using grinds? also did you have any similar experiences?any help much appriciatedchris

yoyoyo
Put my set of pads on, then realised they were uneven and one had glue on, so i have taken them off to sand down to make them flat and have no glue. I'll put them back on soon hopefully.
ogre
I've still got them on the backings they came with *flex* they arent realy that impressive i'm afraid! I've not used them on a grind yet (i don't wana grind my rim till the anodising is dead) and i wan't that impressed with them (fair do's i'm a heavy b*****d but my bloxx browns hold me prety well) and they've given completely a few times now, maybe they'll be better with a grind? on a good ish note thwey worked prety well on my frineds alex rims, and they are prety good on my reggie/ronnie up front.
