Ashley Smith
post mount = shitethe post mount is goin to be the new standard from the end of this year i am affraid, i know shit......... i prefer the current style of mounting, its also goin to be a big ball ache for disc/ fork manufacturers as some designs may have to change, the brake featured is the new freeride brake, quite a nice design, the lever is going to be fully adjustable, quite similar in ways to the juicy 7 jobby, the rotor is one of the new many prototypes being tested, there is a few new models of brake being released soon, including a 'super mono mini' this model features 16mm diameter pistons rather than the 20mm ones in the mono mini, this brake looks tiny and is very very lightweight, this should be released soon.also coming soon from hope that most of you guys probably arn't that interested in, is the new seatpost, expect big things from hope over the next few years, there moving to the new bigger premises soon, which means new technologies and machines..............ps the colour of the lever/ calliper is the new colour which may be released, this is called lime or lemonregards ash Edited June 1, 2006 by trialnoir

Waynio
i spoke to hope yesterday and im hoping to get hold of my new "lever" set-up in the next 3/4 weeks. i dont have to have the full brake, but the lever and blade looks so much cooler. lots more adjustment and features and iv "heard" it makes the Trial hope disc feel alot "stiffer" at the lever, alot more lock. They just have to go to France with the levers and new brakes to make sure that they dont overheat and such forth make sure the lever works on ALL the hope brakes instead of JUST the trial brake.i cant wait. the ones up @ fort william looked TRICK as hell. even in the "Lime" colour scheme.Waynio.......................... Hobnobs
Surely if its stiffer, that implies less leverage, therefore less power? In the same way that an RB lever makes a maggy spongetastic? But if not, then cool.
