Ben Geary
Spray shit loads of WD40 around BB and takep bit, leave for a bit to soak in and then hammer the shit out of it. It should pop of then, i sat there hamering one side of my cranks for 20mins once, so yeah it takes ages sometimes. Just gotta give it some pasty.Edit: F.A.Q Edited May 31, 2006 by Ben Geary
RicH_87
just boil the kettle and pour that on it, then wait a litle while and either hammer it (gay) or use a crank extractor like park tools or something, should pop right off.

adamtrials
I used a thing that i think is for removing car disk brakes, it has a big threaded bit in the middlethat you twist, and three arms that grab on to what you are pulling. I tryed everything else but this worked.
anzo
Oh my God LMFAO again and again and again and again (you get the point) at your signature thats f-ing hilarious mate. Top bannana Thanks Right, this is what I did...Big fecking viceBig fecking hammerBig fecking peice of metal (thin)Clamp the crank arm into the vice...(with bike obviously still attached)Put a 5p where the crank arm bolt would fit (to avoid buggering the threads up in the BB)Get your hammer and smash the queens face in on the 5p, I feel this makes me more violent and more productive. Your bike will fly off eventually (maybe with the help of a blowtorch).
trialsinchris
ok now i gone and done it again this is my headset at thie minuteok i want to know how important can bearings actually be because they dont seem to want to go back inchris Edited May 31, 2006 by trialsinchris
anzo
Very important.Without them chances are the forks will rock (flare your frame), knacker your forks. Also it will not tighten up correctly (It'll tighten by the steering will be very heavy). So you're pretty screwed without them
