theone2be
Don't bleed with water, there will be problems down the line because water is a mix with oxygen and it leads to air bubbles in the line, ask dave (DAB on here he told me about it). Try another re-bleed thats all i can think of, next time were out i'll see if i can set them up any differently for you .

bhups
I've been using water for ages and have had no problems. However, magura oil was made to go in magura brakes for a reason (i don't know what, mehhh). There we go a balanced arugment Bhups.

Ewannnn
I know you arent suppose to bleed them with water and that but i have known people that have run water in their brakes for years and nothing bad has happened. You have just got to bleed is correctly
MattB
hi I've just switched from having a magura bled with oil to a magura bled with water and its a lot more responsive and has a nicer feel so bleed them with water.

King C
Try lubing the pistons. Get one of the pistons exposed then spray with wd40, pump the brake afew times then repeat with the other piston. Mark W
You can use larger, bolder text if you want, but it still doesn't mean shit: Look at the results. The pistons being slow will usually jsut mean that they need to be lubed up. Take your wheel and pads out. Hold your finger over one piston, and get someone to push the lever in. When the piston is fully exposed, spray some GT-85 or similar on it. Pump the lever a few times to bring out all the crap inside the cylinder, then fully expose it again. Wipe it clean with some tissue, then spray it again with GT-85. Repeat until it comes out clear, then just lube it and leave it.I've used water in my Maguras for over 2 years now. It gives a far nicer lever feel than mineral oil does, and hasn't done any damage to my brake. I'm a happy camper.Oh, and one more thing - if you change to using a water bleed, make sure that whoever bleeds it fully, fully flushes out the system before re-filling it with water. Try and use a footpump or something to force air through the system to get rid of all the traces of oil. If it's the first time you've changed to water too, you may want to ride it for a few weeks, then just bleed it again to change the fluid, just get rid of any residual crap that's built up from the previous oil. The water and oil seems to make this horrible gunky crap that slows up the lever feel no end, and generally feels turd. Once that's sorted though, they just feel great and work fine.If you're still going to use mineral oil though, at least don't be stupid and don't buy Magura fluid Yes, I know they say to use Magura blood, but that's 'cos they charge over £20 per litre. LHM Clutch fluid is virtually the same, and is £6...EDIT#2: Search for "Magura fluid" in Trials Chat and you'll find about 2.4 million Magura fluid related threads
