Not too bad. I don't mind the shape personally. I just don't like Peavey.. hot humbuckers aren't my thing either.

If you wanted something weird looking and hot sounding, I would have picked a Les Paul Gothic with Floyd Rose... Only 22 frets. But you could just learn to bend properly to get the higher notes :-

All-in-all, I like it... but I'm still a Gibson whore. (Hopefully I'll have enough to get a decent SG by New Year!) All you need now is a beefy Marshall valve amp to go with the hot hb's.

Hate it :-lol, spose if you like it thats all that matters, and im sure it sounds quite nice.

Edit: How much did you pay for it? I hope not much over £50. :P

Laney are shit, apart from the really oldskool tube amps. MEsa have a good tone but tend to sound sloppy and fuzzy without some decent rack gear. Peavey 5150/6506 or engls are where its at.

Check out www.myspace.com/fellsilent for some engl recorded sounds aswell as www.myspace.com/tesseract

Ive got an ashdown FA60 head and its great for the price. Add a boss NS2 and an EQ pedal and youre laughing. I can upload a clip of the ashdown if anyone wants?
