Adamant A2 Or Echo Pure?

Echo pure for sure, coming from the saracan it would feel alot better. But then you might be one of these weirdos who likes high bb, so I would say try having a go on someones bike with a higher bb and see how you feel.

Only difference is 10mm in length for the Pure and A2 short. Other than that you have to decide between a 18mm and 55mm BB rise. I personally can't see the fascination with high BB's... never tried one but having a higher centre of gravity doesn't bode well with me... and the higher the BB the quicker you'll reach the point of balance on the back wheel so you need to equalise it with a high stem... I can only imagine it feels weird :S

i would go with the Pure.

which pure are we speaking about the new one which is on tartybikes or the old one i personally think the old ones are the shizzo and debating weather to buy one but if your talking about the older one id say go for it, as they are very strong and a good all round frame (Y)

No need to reply anymore. I have just put a cheque in an envelope for an Adamant A2, Brand new still wrapped up for £180. Tried my mates A1 and I like the high bb so I'm gona get although I know some people now who are going to have words with me.

And yes ash you can have a go when you next see me on it :D

Cheers for the help (Y) even though I really went the opposite way (it's a bargain though)

I own an adamant A1 (not quite the A2 but close) and a mate of mine has an Echo Pure. To be honest he is better than me on his pure but it takes getting used to bb rise. After riding both bikes, im half tempted to go back to little bb rise as high bb is nice on back wheel but for taps and everything else it hasnt really improved my riding, gaps have gone backwards.

So its up to you, personally I would say its hard to decide now I've ridden both, Im sure if I rode a zero bb then I would be pants on that too, its just getting used to how each bike rides really.
