Mat Smith!
Might be your cranks/bb/frame?Or maybe just needs bedding in or something.Mat
PaRtZ
and is betting bedding in or should i do some thing about it.probably is. Give it a bit longer and keep an eye on it. If things don't get better in 2 months, you might want to re-post I've found the creaks and groans sort themselves out after a while so i wouldn't worry too muc. Especially if its new
coolbeen
ok i will thanks for all the help i was thinking it was the bb but if it was why should the bb do it now when i have put a new freewheel on.
Egg Fried Rice
maybe its loose already and you need to tighten it?
chasthetrialsrider
ok I had this problem with my dicta, well so I thought it actually ended out to be my pedals as the were loose and hadn't been ridden on for a few weeks. try and wiggle your pedals see if its them

ridemechanic
Hi mate, if it continues to creek then you should sprey some oil down in through the gaps in the freewheel. if it still continues then you sould check that the thread the freewheel screws onto have a small ammount of grease on them. the judge
Maybe when you put your crank back on you didn't do it tight enough, tighten it a bit more and see if that solves the problem.
onza t-pro rider
I reckon it is just bedding in. It would be really wierd if a brand new freewheel made for trials would start to creak and break as soon as you start riding it. It could be your crank bolts are not done up tight enough , also it might be time for a new bottom bracket.Hope this helps.Matt Edited May 28, 2006 by onza t-pro rider
RandomHero
maybe its loose already and you need to tighten it?Surely it will sort itself out though if its coming lose, what with it being a right hand thread. watto
Surely it will sort itself out though if its coming lose, what with it being a rght hand thread. It WONT come loose, as it has the thread the opposite way round to acs/eno freewheels so in stead on loosening as you ride, it tightens, check crank bolts, bb, pedals and tighten them all that should to the trick. Mr Monty
Most of the time it is the pedal's that start creaking but u might what to check cranks and bb as well.
Alex87
My new Tensile freewheel clicked and creaked a few times in the first few days I rode it but it's all settled down now so give it a few days

BAH! My ENO's loose at the moment. It's about the 6th time Just check around your drivetrain? See if the cranks wobble, the pedals wobble, the freewheels tight, the chain's ok, the BB's ok, the rear wheels ok, nothing's cracked, rusty, loose or destroyed. Just spend a few minutes checking it all out then grease and tighten it. It's not that hard
