Danny Kearns
Hi there i was just wondering what heatsink blues are like to run on a grind and what the wear life on them is.Cheers !
that NBR dude
Been running mine for quite a while, and I am quite impressed with them. They have an excellent amount of bite, hold, bla bla blaWear rate is pretty good too. Had mine now for a few months, and although I dont ride a great amount, they have not worn down a great deal. The only thing I noticed about them is they do take some bedding in, but once they are, they are sweet. Not the quietest pads around, but at least they work well

They've nearly had it though but they are lasting out well.Dunno what to go for next though. Maybe some Coust Sinks or Heatsink Reds in the CNC backings. Trials Dave
i have ran my blue heatsinks on a grind for a while now. they are amazing. i have never used tar and my grind is pretty dead yet they grip amazingly. it has given me more confidence and i rider better as i really do trust my back brake! it really does inspire confidence with the bite they get and the noise they make.they are also lasting well by the way go get them!Dave
Danny Kearns
Do the ones with the cnc'd backings performe just the same as the ones without cnc'd backings.?Cheers !
ghosts_cloak
Hi I have been running Heatsink blues for a few months now, and I have been very impressed! Very good hold, bite, wear rate is low on a low/medium grind and they dont appear to have worn the grind much either!Regarding the cnc backings, I havent tried them but I remember reading that they do make a subtle difference, stiffer / less spongy feel at the lever. Hope that helps a little, Garethps: I want some of the CNC backings
deanie-b
Reds for the win Apsolutely awesome, Grind rim with a diamond tipped cutting disc, make it razor sharp, then watch your new pads work apsolutely f**king amazingly in wet and dry conditions

deanie-b
dimond disc, me bro has one on his angle grinder never thought it would work due the disc looking metal Yep ! After cutting through half a tonne of paving slabs, it still gave me the harshest grind i've ever had Amazing discs for it. Would probably be good if you put the wheel in a vice and did it too
