My station has; a crappy overheating IBM laptop, XBOX 360 with 2 controllers and 5 games and 1 demo, a webcam for you dirty perverts a needle thing which being the child i am i have it as my hand giving the finger, my iPod and dock player thing and finally a laver (sp) lamp.[attachmentid=5462]PS sorry for crap pic, will take a proper one later. It's probably the non-batter skins I have on the bottom, they're Premier Cl Response skins which are old and poo.I'll probably be buying a whole kit of Evans EC3 skins sometime soon, they look and apparently sound awesome. Janson Posted June 24, 2006 Report Share Posted June 24, 2006 I hear clear evans g1 are nice for reso side. i use some crap noname resonant heads, fairly tight. i use evans g2 coated heads on the batter side, with a piece of moongel (best damping EVER) fairly close to the rim, just to take the worst off. i like a bit of ring in the toms! Spikenipple Posted June 24, 2006 Report Share Posted June 24, 2006 Fair enough I used to use Moongel pads but they got covered in stick dust and bits of crap accumulated from everywhere so I had to chuck them out when they lost their adhesive power. And yes, I did try cleaning them as instructed on the pot but it didn't work I haven't bothered buying any more since, as 6 or 7 quid is a bit steep for 4 pads!
