Is that a 24" tappets or that mental cheap 28" one they do?

It's a 28" and yeah they are getting cheap. I picked it up from my roommate for next to nothing.

Not the sharpest monitor on the planet, but great for the money.

Thought this might be a good place to ask as I can't find a definitive answer anywhere on the internet!

I have a Nvidia 6200A graphics card which has a DVI and a VGA output, can I connect a monitor to each and have dual monitors?

I'd rather not upgrade the graphics card if I can avoid it, I only just got this one about a year ago and it works great, but also I already have a spare one bought in error, so I don't really fancy having two knocking about!

Simple answer is yes. You can either use the supplied NVIDIA software that came with the card to set it up or download a program called "Ultramon" and use that to even further customise how you want your dual monitor set up to work.

EDIT:

Will quickly throw this in here as I have just taken delivery of my second Samsung 2253lw :D

Motu's are rare though, how much did it go for?

I had an 828 which sold for £500 on ebay.

A load of other akai interfaces and a few Lovetone pedals that made a few quid. The studio looks a bit bare now so I set up the Trace's to fill it up haha

Cheers Joe, that's an immense set-up you have there! Not sure I'd have that big telly in the little room though. :P

I've ordered a DVI to VGA adapter, so I can test it with my spare CRT I have kicking about in my bedroom (I think, don't acutally spend much time in there). If it doesn't work all that well, then meh, the adapter was £2.19 and I'll be able to use the DVI output, which I hear is faster and clearer.

You can pick my monitor up for about £120 on ebay now, so I may well get another, I've certainly got the desk space.

I've got so many things to do to this room though, I want a new chair, desk, computer with an external soundcard, surround sound, TV input card thingy so I can record telly on the computer, and I need a few bits for the network like a print server and a cable to link my Dad's computer up from downstairs so I can shut the fecking wireless off once and for all.

Anyone got any ideas for stiffening the base for my monitor, it wobbles too much. :( (LG W2242S).

You would have thought that in good light that Daddy's amazing camera would have been able to get a decent picture, but alas.

Seems to work ok. :P I want a matching 22" though, theres space on the desk for them. (Just...).
