Mark W
Mine's been going fine since December with no problems, and the production models are even better. Worth a crack at £35 or whatever they are

the judge
Do i need to use a BB tool i heard i do?Yep, you need a bb tool to tighten/loosen the lockring.
Mark W
Incorrect. The lockring can be undone with a screw-driver or whatever - same as an ACS Claw, except it has a regular thread instead of opposite (a la the ACS's).The BB tool is needed to take it off, as it doesn't have regular freewheel tabs, and is therefore thinner

Mark W
Hehe, all good I should probably put a bit more info though - compared to an Eno (sealed bearing, 72EP), the Tensile feels almost exactly the same. Going from an Eno to a Claw for example feels shit, due to the wobbly driveshell on the Claws and them only having 36eps. On the Tensile though, the driveshell is really well held in place. The springs all seem to be nicely stiff too, so it really definitely engages. It doesn't spin as fast as the Claws do, and it just feels more solid when you engage it compared to a Claw. I've stripped my spare Tensile a couple of times now to get pics for people, and it's not as bad as I thought it'd be now I've got the knack. It's still nowhere even near as easy to do as an Eno, but that's just 'cos it's open bearing and nothing's really going to change that. However, it's still not too bad to work on
