Dr Greenthumb
hey allMy rear month tyre keeps fallig off my rim allowing my tube to come out whilst riding. The only way to stopit is to run stupidly high pressure. But thats horrible.I've gone back to a creepy crawler, but i love the springyness off my monty.Any ideas to stop this happening?Dan

anzo
What condition is the rim in? I might be a flat spot/buckle causing it?
Guest
I had the same problem with creepy crawlers, and then got the 2.7 Monty tyre and it happens very occasionally now, only usually if im arsing about spining on the back wheel and shit. If im actually riding trials it rarely comes off......Make sure the tyre is evenly spaced allround the rim, and pump it up nice and hard, the tyre will takes it's place in the wheel under pressure, and then you can let air out to the desired pressure safe in the knowledge your trye is seated correctly.Just keep experimenting with a pressure which allows you to ride, and keep the trye on the rim....
