Magura Help

Recommended Posts

Hello

I had this problem with one of my old maguras. This is what i did;

Firstly i took the lever blade out of the lever body.

Drain all the fluid out of the system.

Pull the seal out and see if theres anything restricting its movement. (grit etc) maybe clean it up a bit.

This solved my problem, i hope it helps.

take off all pads and stuff

pull the lever so that the pistons stick out and get some lube on there and then pump the lever to get it all smeared round

people say this but didnt work for me unfortunatly

I think he's on about the master cylinder not the brake calipers.

the piston in the lever bit should come out by taking the lever blade out and pull it out with pliers. but i'm not sure

try a search.

Strip it all down so you've taken off the lever blade, random little piston poker thing etc;

Wack the lever body in a pan of boiling water with some fairy liquid for a few minutes;

Take it out (Just incase your a 'tard it's very hot at this stage) in the water there will be loads of gack and crud (which is good) so let it all cool down, lube the piston up with vasaline, put it all back together then bleed :)
