planet-x-boy
Hello, I have had a cable disc before and it felt ok but it seemed harder to pull the brake lever with it being cable. I am thinking about getting an Avid bb7 but i dont want it if it is hard to pull the lever.Any help would be great Brett....
Davetrials
Hands down a 205 avid is the best brake i have ever use, screw off every other disc ever made and use a 205 avid, there so simple to set up, feel mint, cheap as chips, and are a bit good. My old cable disc was good but was hard to pull in, thats why i changed to hydrolic (sp).Brett......

Simpson
mine pulls through fine - with a liner slic cable and sram 05 lever - nice and soft perfect brake
Hobnobs
Decent lever and cables and it will be fine. If you still find it a bit hard, as said above, just ease off the spring tension, its not like the pads have gotta snap back fast anyway. Burton
Ive got a 160 on my mod, with a Avid cable, and Avid Fr-1 lever and its ace.It feels easy to pull, bit like a new Magura. You can adjust the spring tension at the caliper, but i think you won't need to.

Tomm
They are amazing. I used an XTR lever with bog-standard cable and I had no problems at all. Posh cables are for tarts I reckon They don't really make any difference to the power of the brake, they just make it feel a bit nicer to pull.
