Greetings Posted May 23, 2006 Report Share Posted May 23, 2006 I guess you've got the heavy duty axle.The best way to check if indeed you need tightening, is to waggle the wheel. If there is play which is due to the bearings and not the spokes, you need to tighten the hub.You need a 3/32" allen key for this. You've got a cap with a bolt on the non-drive side of the hub. Undo the bolt so it's loose and then tighten the cap with your fingers.
