' Mart '
hey, recently my little brother came out filming me while riding and he got really intrested in trials,he sorted his balance out really quickly and he can endo and keep steady but i tryed to teach him to bunnyhop and he has done it a few times but not always now i learned by watching a video about hans-rey, and he said to push down, back and up with your ankles and that worked for me but he cant get it right, how did you lot learn to bunny hop and if any one has idea's how i can help him would be cool to get him riding that would make 5 of us in newark lolcheers
Robwalker
I find that wheelieing manualing is the basis of most moves in trials, try and teach him to wheelie, and when he's masterd that get his braking/pedaling technique right. Best way to do this is go along the pavement, kiking so that he goes along, and then pulling the brake and bringing the pedals back to a level position, then doing it again. Keep him going and going and then tell him to imcorprate the two, go up like a wheelie, pull the brake, get the pedals back then kick, then pull the brake and bring the pedals back. Its a hard process though, ive tried time and time again and i just havn't got he patience with my little bro Good luck!Rob
Walleee
Stick a plank of wood down as a wee tiny kicker for him to bump the front wheel off, then the back wheel will follow over, if he unweight's the rear end it will follow the front off the ground, once he has got the feeling using a kicker, itll be easier on flat ground....
