So now I start my gcse's in 3 weeks I want to get some revision done, Can you please tell me what sources you found useful, how long of periods you revised for etc.

I use BBC Bitesize a fair amount, seems to be alright. Most of the time i end up playing the crappy revision games on there that are no help at all though...

Just try and get yourself some past papers, they are definately the best thing to try.

it gives you an idea of how the exam will be laid out and they types of questions you will get (although it will never be exactly the same).

I've never done any "proper" revision, so to speak.

All I do is past papers, then if I don't know something, or get it wrong, find out how to do it.

For me it's the best way.

Feel free to revise until whenever you want, but make sure you just listen to music, and relax for the last hour or so before the exam. :)

Works for me!

Yeah, don't revise stuff you can allready do, find out what you can do through past exam papers, if you can't do a question seek further questions in your textbook or online and do them 'till you have it down.

Don't do loads of work all at once, break it down, 30 minute sessions every other day are better than 3 hours solid at once. I find two sessions of about an hour in a week per subject works pretty well if I start a few weeks in advance of study leave (bit late now, for you, but next time), it really does ease the stress.

for me it depends on what subject i revise for

most of the time i dont revise as i get to bored and distracted by thinking about the other things i could be doing.

but if you insist on doing it just revise for an hour at a time then go for a small ride for 5/10 minutes, it refreshes you, but remeber if you get even a tiny bit stressed out about something just leave it for a bit and then go back to it once your more relaxed, and listen to some quiet music that you like.
